About

"Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, I'm Daniel 'Danny' Robledo, proud son of Eduviges Briones Robledo and Justo Ricardo Robledo (Tito), a decorated WWII combat Veteran. My parents instilled in me the values of compassion, responsibility, and integrity, with my mom emphasizing empathy and hard work, and my dad teaching me the importance of life experiences, honesty, loyalty, and respect.

I graduated from Bel-Air High School in 1979, earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from UTEP in 1984,  and received my Doctor of Law from Thurgood Marshall School of Law the same year. At just 26, I passed the Texas State Bar. Despite opportunities to leave, I chose to stay loyal to my hometown, serving El Paso with dedication and passion. With over 37 years of experience as an attorney, I've served as Assistant City Prosecutor, Judge for Municipal Court Number Five, and Presiding/Administrative Judge. I implemented an 'Open Court Policy,' ensuring our community has access to justice.

My roots run deep in El Paso, and I've never forgotten my humble beginnings. I'm grateful for the support of my family, friends, and community. Throughout my career, I've remained committed to El Paso, declining opportunities to leave. I've earned the support of my community, lawyers, and staff. I'm proud to have consistently demonstrated the highest standards of professionalism and ethics, earning me a sanction-free record with the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Judicial Commission.

As your Presiding Judge, I promise to continue serving with respect, courtesy, and attentiveness. I ask for your vote in the 2024 election to continue leading Municipal Court Number Five. Together, let's build a fair and just community for all. “I'm proud to be a product of El Paso, and I'm committed to giving back to the community that raised me. I'm loyal to El Paso, and I'll continue to work tirelessly for our city's prosperity."

"I'm deeply grateful to my entire support system, including my extended family, friends, and especially my loving wife, Mary Robledo; my  daughter, Marie Elizibeth Robledo; and my cherished grandson, Josiah, affectionately known as "Little Grandpa". Your love and encouragement mean the world to me."
